Having seventeen years seagoing experience out of which seven years as the Master on board ocean going (dry) cargo ships.
• Having work experience on board different types of dry cargo ships i.e.: (general cargo, multipurpose, dry bulk carriers, container vessels) in capacities of deck officer and master.
• Having good experience in conducting/assisting in carrying out different type of surveys along with class surveyors in preparation of new building vessels for putting them into service as well as periodical surveys. • Having good experience in performing duties under stress and handling emergency situations. • Experienced in damage control and contingency planning as members of shore based emergency response committee. • Experienced in safe loading, securing, shipment at sea and safe discharging of heavy lift project cargoes using ship’s gears. • Experienced in preparing vessels for dry docking and supervising/controlling the repair jobs. • Experienced in carrying out “ISM “, “ISPS” audits and carrying out on scene survey of the ships. • Having experience in arranging and assisting the process of carrying out condition surveying of dry cargo vessels. • Having good experience and knowledge in handling various P&I and H&M claims which was gained during my service ashore as the claim executive and manager of insurance and claims office as well as a period of three years when I was the managing director of first Iranian P&I club (Kish P&I club). Certified associate average adjuster from Association of Average Adjusters(UK). • Good experience in negotiation with Salvers and towing companies and their brokers for employment of Salvage tug based on BIMCO Towson and Tow hire contract. • Experienced in finalizing Wreck Removal Contracts i.e.; Wreck fixed, Wreck hire, Wreck stage. • Experience working with ITOPF surveyors for containing the Oil pollution damages on the coast lines
